Occasional Elementary Teacher Opportunities – 2026–2027 School Year

This posting is intended for attendees of our Job Fairs that are looking to participate in walk-in opportunities. Applications can be completed onsite to register for an opportunity to interview at a KPRDSB Job Fair. 

• June 16 – Harold Longworth Public School
• June 18 – Brighton Public School
  (4:30 PM – 8:00 PM at both locations)

Job Title:  Occasional Elementary Teacher 

Job Type:  This posting is for establishing an occasional supply list for existing and future coverage needs

Salary:  $289.52 per daily assignment

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Closing Date: Month Day, 2026, at 12:00PM

Interviews:  Interviews will take place in person at our KPRDSB job fair events. Selected candidates will receive an email invitation to schedule an interview time. The assigned interview location will be based on the address provided in the application.

• In Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or; Good Standing with Terms, Conditions or Limitations (Transitional Certificate). 

• A police record check, with a Vulnerable Sector Search and Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database Search dated within 6 months prior to the date of hire, is a requirement for employment.
